GIVING BACK

Giving back is our way of saying thank you to our community and a reminder that, at our core, we are striving to achieve something more important than  just being a local coffee shop. It is important to all of us at Stylus & Crate that we have a servant’s heart and we look for ways to serve the people of our community.

We love to support local schools and charities, and we enjoy partnering with other small businesses and supporting them in any way we can.  It is important for us to be involved in community service clubs and associations and I also serve as a board member for Localworks.

We are happy to open our space to other small businesses, offering a space for pop-up and fundraising events and allowing space for artists to sell their crafts.  We host a weekly managers’ meeting for a local company without office space. We have partnered with a local cottage bakery and provide space for wedding cake tastings and cake pick-ups.  We have provided space and hosted events for the Chamber of Commerce, Wheat Ridge Business District and the Kiwanis Club. We are the official Coffee Shop for the Wheat Ridge Gazette and provide a space for community conversations and article interviews. In the coming weeks, we are helping another new small business in Wheat Ridge by hosting morning coffee and yoga as they advertise their new space that will open this fall.

We love our first responders, and as a small token of our appreciation, all of their coffee is on us!  We valued the opportunity to host Coffee With a Cop and invited the community in to meet our Wheat Ridge officers and learn about community policing.

We set a goal of becoming part of this community that we serve and we are open to new ideas.  Our focus is to be something bigger than just four walls and serving coffee.
